Spear Point Bowie

Socket style with a carved elk crown handle, and a broad convex blade grind. Steel is by maker, 140 layer 15n20/1095/1080 in a random, forged to shape pattern that extends into the bolster area. Faded differential hardening color Pinch bolt is also Damascus and serves as an additional grip point between middle and ring finger. Rear of grip is North American elk stag crown, carved to shape by hand.

    Extremely robust design, exhibits no flex whatsoever under hard use. More of a cutter than a chopper from a balance standpoint, but strong enough for chopping/splitting if need be.
